Music Judging

Q: Dear Red, at school and home, I don't listen to the same music as everybody else. I'm a heavy rocking loving kid. But recently, people have been starting to make fun of me for it. Calling me rude names, like a "Satanist" "emo" and asking me if somethings wrong with me. Why are they so judgmental over music?
A: Dear "music judging" I know the feels!! Rocking music, is my music too. I'm all about AA, and BMTH, and all those other bands. And I'm going to tell you, people are always going to judge you. You're never going to be anywhere, that everybody is going to like you, and everybody's going to love all the same things as you. People will find are going to find any little reason to hate on you. Whether it be for the music to listen to, the clothes you wear, the people that you hang out with, and like and somebody doesn't approve even though it's none of their business, it's always going to happen. You really just can't avoid it. As long as you don't believe anything they say, and just stay confident in that you like yourself, and your life, and how you choose to dress, and the people you're with, then everything will be okay!
